Remove all the screws on the side panel on your PC case to access the motherboard. Memory slots are long and is usually located near the CPU socket. Memory slot will have locks on either sides. Pull the lock outwards and remove one RAM stick. Turn on the PC and check if the monitor displays anything.

Discussion. It's my brother's, but as far as I know, he went to shower and then came back to a white screen. I've interchanged the cables and made sure other monitors work. I'm sure it's not the computer, I'm wondering how to fix the monitor. It's a 1080p 144hz Acer predator, I'm not sure of any specifics past that.
1 1. It looks like burn in, or sunburn, or possibly a chemical. A towel damp with water is the best thing to use on screens. If it cleans this, good, if it doesn't, you're probably out of luck. – music2myear.
Acer 22 inch AL2223W: Monitor goes dark/black after a second. The display on my monitor goes dark (backlights turn off) after a second.
